Fine Arts and Crafts
Creative Crafts: If you love making things and learning new skills, this is the perfect class for you! Students will learn simple sewing techniques, improve their sketching and glue application skills. We will be making pillows, pop up cards and even our very own moccasins!
Creative Memories and Scrapbooks!: Create a beautiful memory book and fun picture pages to capture your greatest and most special memories. Don’t forget to bring your special photos to our first class.
Decoupage & Collage: In this class, students will make beautiful projects simply by cutting, pasting and decorating using special paints. We will create small projects to take home or give as gifts. The decoupage artist is limited only by his or her imagination! In the collage part of the class, students will discover how to “paint with scissors,” use proportion to create unexpected imagery, and how to turn everyday materials into personal masterpieces! By introducing students to the elements of art and the principles of design, students will have a head start both in understanding and creating art. We will be making personalized postcards, mobiles, new worlds and even a Matisse-inspired still life.
Design and Build It: Build interesting projects and learn the science behind them. Projects might include hot air balloons, bridges, egg drop and more.
Go Green Environmental Crafts: Create cool projects using a variety of “green” materials and recycleable items.
Girls Just Want to Have Fun: It’s arts and crafts but with a twist. In this class, girls learn how to do nails, make up as well as make crafts like jewelry, berets and friendship pins. All while listening to music and talking about girl stuff.
Little Artist – Little Crafts: Create, build, mold, cut and other great activities. Learn fun skills that help develop fine motor skills and develop the artist in you! This class is for our younger artists.
Painting: Do you like to paint or want to practice your technique? Then this class is for you! With teacher guidance, your child will create paintings that he/she can include in a portfolio or just hang at home!
Sculpture and Paper Mache: Create cool sculptures using a paper mache and other media. Loads of fun - one of our popular classes.
T Shirt Fun: Not just T-shirts but anything fabric! Using tye-dye colors, create and decorate shirts, hats, socks and more. Our most popular class!!
Wood Shop: Create and decorate interesting wood projects that can also be given as gifts. Discover your creative side including birdhouses, fireman house banks and toolboxes. Each student will build, learn, and create with your own hands.
Food and Dessert Classes
Dessert Creations: Learn how to make delicious dessert creations all on your own! Emphasis will be fun! Plus, you’ll learn how to follow a recipe, decorate your creations and so much more!
*Fun in the Kitchen: Dazzle in the kitchen! Come learn to plan, measure, serve and clean. We’ll make daily recipes that will be cooked and consumed by student chefs. Feast on yummy delights! Our most popular class in the summer.
*Healthy Snacks: In this class, kids will learn how to make healthy snacks that are easy to make and delicious. You’ll take home a recipe book too!
*Spectacular Chocolate Creations: Are you looking to do something different this summer? Look no further chocolatier is here!. We can use our imagination and create lots of yummy treats. In addition to having fun you will also learn how to measure amounts and how to melt chocolate. The best part is that we get to eat what we make! Dress for mess and come hungry. Chocolate covered Chinese noodles, Oreo truffles, fudge, chocolate pretzels, dirt, chocolate fondue and more!
Sports Fun
Baseball & T-Ball:America’s favorite sport. You’ll learn about baseball by playing, hitting and catching. Play a fun game with your friends.
Basketball: Ready to shoot some hoops? Then sign up for basketball class! We’ll run, learn how to shoot and dribble use our skills in a daily basketball game. Students will be learning basketball skills and strategies. The program will also focus on the importance of teamwork. This is a fun filled program that your child will enjoy!
Dodgeball: Students will learn teamwork and sportsmanship by playing this timeless game. This timeless game will be played in a safe and respectful manner.
Field Day Everyday: Have fun with field day games like Grab the Chicken, Birthday Tag, Relay Races and more. A fun class for our young participants. Participate in a fun tournament.
Flag Football: Learn football skills in a action packed game setting. You’ll defense, wide receiver, quarterback and more. Participate in a fun tournament.
Gym Favorites: Are you ready for fun? Participate in various fun activities and cool games with an emphasis on cooperation, fitness and safety. We will be playing all of the students favorite games they play in gym too!
Hip Hop and Dance: Ready to move and groove? Then this is the class for you! Led by an experienced dance instructor, children will study today’s hip hop and jazz moves while having loads of fun! This is a fun class for all ages.
Kickball: Play everyone’s favorite playground game in an action-packed game setting. Tons of fun for everyone.
Recess Games: All of your recess favorites and so many more new ones. Learn group and partner games that promote fun, teamwork and social skills.
Soccer: Play soccer in an action filled and safe setting. Have loads of fun and learn cool skills to be a better player.
Sports Center: Do you like all sports all the time? Then Sports Center is the class for you. Each day the children will learn and play the Sport of the Day. They will learn the highlights and skills for that sport. The featured sports are football, baseball, soccer, basketball, and kickball. For our younger students, The sports center is still the class for you. In this class, children will learn and play the “Sport of the Day”. We’ll learn the highlights and skills for that sport. The featured sports are T-ball, soccer, kickball, track and field, and parachute.
Summer Water Games:Splash and get a little wet with different games to keep you cool on those hot summer days. It will be hard to stay dry. Bring a towel.
Team Time: Do you like team sports? In this class you’ll have fun playing in an assortment team games and activities.
Team Handball: Everyone’s favorite playground game. Learn the skills to play team handball.
Volleyball: Learn about the game of volleyball. Awesome team sport…lots of fun and excitement.
Yoga:This Yoga class is designed to work with children at any level who would like to become more relaxed and focused on themselves.
Technology
Computers for Little Kids: We’ll learn fun things to do on the computer and the internet in a safe environment. For our younger students.

*Discover the Oceans: One of our 3 new weekly themed classes! Did you know that 75% of the Earth’s surface is water? Young oceanographers will learn about the ocean’s physical characteristics, currents, winds and animals that live in it. This is perfect for kids who are fascinated by the wonders of the seas.
*Dinosaur Hunters!: Another one of our new weekly themed classes. Grab your shovels and get ready to go on a dinosaur hunt! By reading stories, exploring websites, and participating in art projects, children will learn about these large creatures that roamed our earth many years ago. For a culminating activity children will go on a dinosaur dig to see what they can find!
*Digital Photography: Students will learn all about taking digital photography and processing photos on the computer.
*Flip Video: Learn all about the hottest new video camera on the market. In this class, students will learn how to take videos,download and quick edit your programs into your own creations.
*Fly into Space: Another themed class. Learn everything about Space, the final frontier. We’ll learn about planets, rockets, starts, telescopes and more! We might even come back at night to look into a telescope!
Young Inventors: Have you ever thought about making an invention? We’ll use problem solving and science concepts to discover the inventor in you! There are no limits as to what the inventive mind can create.
*Labcoat Kids: Grab your labcoats and goggles! In this class students will learn to apply scientific concepts to some experiments that venture beyond the regular classroom. Projects may include electricity, magnetism, simple machines, weather and more.
*Lego Creation: Get ready to build cool lego projects. Legos aren’t little plastic blocks that your parent’s used to play with. Today’s legos are fun, colorful, details and high tech. Learn to follow directions and build neat stuff.

*Nature Adventurers: We will explore the great outdoors and have fun with nature each week! Children who interact with nature grow up to be physically healthier, having a well-rounded intellegence, being calmer and more focused, more creative, and more responsible and independent.
PowerPoint: Creating cool slide shows in PowerPoint is not only fun, exciting and rewarding, but it is loaded with skills necessary for success. We’ll learn the basics to write, design, edit and read and then add some neat advanced features like sound, animation, movie clips, links and action buttons.
Robots & Techno K’NEX: Students will use a robotics kit to build and program machines through the use of the computer. During the course of a week, the students will spend a few days building before programming their machines to perform tasks. Excellent class!
Rockets: Blast off.learn about and build cool real flying model rockets. Then we’ll shoot ‘em off behind the school. It will be a blast.
*Video TV Show: Students will learn how to shoot a video story then put it all together to produce their own TV show for broadcast.
